It’s hard to find someone who doesn’t like hot sandwiches, especially if they don’t need to be baked in the oven. Make your usual sausage sandwiches more original by frying them in a delicate mixture of eggs, cheese, and herbs. Such sandwiches-sandwiches in an appetizing egg-cheese “coat” not only turn out delicious but also look very attractive – a beautiful and super satisfying breakfast in a minimum of time!
Cook: 15 minutes
Ingredients
White bread (loaf) – 6 slices
Hard cheese – 80 g
Smoked sausage – 60 g
Eggs – 2 pcs.
Fresh dill – 4-5 branches
Fresh parsley – 4-5 branches
Salt to taste
Vegetable oil (for frying) – 2 tbsp (30 ml)
Directions
Divide the cheese into 2 parts. We cut one into thin slices, and the second we rub on a fine grater. Cut the sausage into thin slices.
Preparing the egg-cheese mixture. We wash the dill and parsley, dry, and chop finely with a knife. In a deep bowl, combine grated cheese, eggs, chopped herbs, and salt.
Mix, beating a little with a fork.
Forming sandwiches. On a slice of bread, put 2 slices of sausage, a slice of cheese, and cover with a second slice of bread. Thus, we form the rest of the sandwiches. I got 3 pieces.
Gently dip each sandwich in the egg and cheese mixture on all sides.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Put the sandwiches in a frying pan and fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until the egg mixture and golden brown set.
Enjoy your meal!
