  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Semi-smoked sausage – 100 g
  • Onions – 100 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) – 1-2 tbsp

  2. Peel the sausage and cut into small cubes.
    Peel the onions and also cut them into small cubes. Decide in which pan you will cook the dish, and depending on its size, cut the baguette into 2 or 4 pieces. Cut each piece of
  3. Break the eggs into a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Whisk the mixture with a fork for a few seconds until smooth.
  4. Stir the onion and sausage into the egg mixture.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and brush with vegetable oil. Pour the omelet mixture into the skillet and spread evenly. If the pan fits 2 out of 4 slices of bread, pour half of the omelet mixture.
  6. Saute the omelet mixture for 30-40 seconds, until it sets slightly. Then use a spatula to split the omelet in half and place the top halves of the baguette on top of it. Use a spatula to tuck the omelet so that it just extends slightly outside the baguette slices and fry for another 30 seconds.

  7. Transfer the scrambled baguette halves to a plate for a while.
  8. Place the bottom halves of the baguette pieces in the pan. Heat the bread in a skillet for about 1 minute.
  9. Then cover the bottom of the baguette with the top. Reduce heat to low, cover skillet with lid and heat sandwiches for about 1 minute more. If you have divided the baguette and omelet mixture in half, repeat the process by toasting the remaining pieces of bread and omelet mixture.
