Hot Sandwiches With Sausage and Cheese (in a pan)

Simple, hearty and delicious food – hot sandwiches stuffed with sausage and cheese. Appetizing crispy brown sandwiches are obtained by roasting them in an interesting egg-tomato sauce with spices. Great breakfast or a snack from readily available products!

Ingredients

  • Toast bread – 4 slices
  • Hard cheese – 60 g
  • Sausage – 40 g
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Ketchup – 2 teaspoon
  • Dried dill – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Dried garlic – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) -1-2 teaspoon

Directions

  1. Place 2 slices of cheese on one slice of bread.
  2. Put 2 slices of sausage on top of the cheese.
  3. Place 2 slices of cheese on top.
  4. Cover with another slice of bread.
  5. Break one egg into a plate and beat a little with a fork.
  6. Add about half the dried garlic (1/4 teaspoon) and half the dried dill (1/4 teaspoon). Mix.
  7. Add half of the ketchup (1 teaspoon). Stir again.
  8. Dip in the egg mixture for about 5-10 seconds to soak well.
  9. Then turn the sandwich to the other side and also leave in the egg mixture for about 5-10 seconds to soak.
  10. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry the sandwich over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  11. In the same way, collect the second sandwich, prepare the egg mixture with ketchup, soak the sandwich in it and fry it in a pan.
  12. Cut the prepared sandwich in half diagonally and serve.
