Ingredients

  • 1 ½ kg potato (s)
  • 250 g bacon, smoked
  • 500 g onion (s)
  • 30 grams flour
  • 50 g lard
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 2 clove (s)
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • Paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 4 sausages, e.g. Landjäger, Cervelats, Käsekrainer
  • liter ⅛ sour cream
  • 0.5 liter ½ water

Instructions

  1. Sauté the finely chopped onions in the fat, add the bacon cut into cubes and let it translate. Briefly steam the potatoes cut into small cubes, season, sprinkle with the flour and mix everything well. Deglaze with the water, add the sausages cut into small cubes and let the dish cook for about 30 minutes, until the potatoes are soft but not mushy. Refine with the cream.
  2. This stew has to be very creamy and flavorful.
