Instructions

  1. The recipe comes from a friend who met an Indian woman on a train in India who gave her this recipe. So a really original chai recipe.
  2. Bring the water, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom to a boil in a saucepan. The longer you let it simmer, the better the chai will be. Then add the black tea and let everything cool down.
  3. Now add the milk and reheat, but do not bring to the boil again. Add the sugar and stir well.
