- The recipe comes from a friend who met an Indian woman on a train in India who gave her this recipe. So a really original chai recipe.
- Bring the water, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom to a boil in a saucepan. The longer you let it simmer, the better the chai will be. Then add the black tea and let everything cool down.
- Now add the milk and reheat, but do not bring to the boil again. Add the sugar and stir well.
