Ingredients
- 2 onion (s), finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 4 cm ginger, peeled, finely chopped
- 30 g hee or 1.5 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoon coriander
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1 bay leaf
- salt
- 1 liter water

- Heat the fat in a saucepan and fry the onions and garlic cloves until translucent. Crush the coriander in a mortar, add the fennel, ginger and bay leaf to the pan and roast briefly.
- Pour 1 liter of water on top and let simmer covered for 30 minutes. Season with a little salt.
