Irish Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 450 Grams
  • Milk – 75 Milliliters
  • Green onion – 20 Grams
  • Butter – 25 grams
  • Salt – To taste
  • Black pepper – To taste

Directions

  1. Prepare all the ingredients you need to make Irish mashed potatoes.
  2. Wash and dry the green onions. Chop it finely and place in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.
  3. Pour in cold milk and put on medium heat, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 4 minutes. Remove from heat, close the lid and let it brew.
  4. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut them into pieces. Place in a saucepan, add water and boil over medium heat until tender.
  5. Drain the broth from the potatoes and carefully remove the skin.
  6. Remember mashed potatoes, add butter and stir.
  7. Pour milk and green onions into the mashed potatoes, salt and pepper.
  8. And mix thoroughly until soft puree.
