Ingredients

  • 225 g potato (s), floury, peeled, boiled and mashed
  • 225 g potato (s), floury, peeled and rated
  • 350 ml milk or buttermilk
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 medium egg (s), very fresh and room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • some black pepper, ground
  • a bit salt
  • some butter for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients well. Heat some butter in a pan. Add tablespoon-sized portions to the pan and bake until golden brown for about 3 minutes on each side over the flame that is not too high.
  2. Serve hot with apple sauce or with black pudding (blood sausage) and bacon.
