Ingredients

  • 500 g tomato (s)
  • 2 scoops mozzarella (15 g each)
  • 1 bunch basil
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 500 g spaetzle from the coolin shelf or homemade

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° (convection 160 °).
  2. Wash the tomatoes, remove the stalks and cut the tomatoes into thin slices. Also cut the mozzarella into thin slices.
  3. Wash the basil, shake dry and finely chop. Mix with the oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Layer a flat baking dish with the ingredients: start with spaetzle, then tomatoes, mixed basil oil and finally the mozzarella slices. Start all over again, until all the ingredients are used up, finish with mozzarella.
  5. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 15 minutes until the cheese has a nice, light brown color.
  6. Variation: Also tastes great with spinach and feta. But then leave out the basil.
