  • 100 ml dashi
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoon wine (mirin, sweet rice wine)
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce, light, Japanese (Usukuchi)

Instructions

  1. Peel the pumpkin and remove the grains, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Bring the remaining seasoning ingredients to the boil. Add the pumpkin pieces and cook on low heat for about 15 minutes until soft.
  3. Serve as a side dish.
