Ingredients

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 onion (s), grated
  • 60 g rice
  • Salt water
  • 1 egg (s)
  • parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • 100 g flour
  • 2 egg (s)

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice in salted water as usual and set aside. Knead the minced meat with the grated onion, egg, spices and cooked rice. Shape this minced meat mixture into flat meatballs.
  2. Whisk the 2 eggs in a small bowl and roll the meatballs first in flour and then in the egg. Fry in hot oil and drain the meatballs on kitchen paper. The Köfte taste best when they are lukewarm.
