Ingredients

  • 350 g kale, frozen
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable stock
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • salt and pepper
  • sugar
  • Milk or cream
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Bring the kale to the boil in a little water according to the instructions on the packet. Add the vegetable stock and simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat the olive oil and butter in a pan and brown the diced onion and the finely diced garlic.
  3. Pour off most of the water from the kale and add the kale to the onions and garlic in the pan. Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg and sugar to taste. Let simmer for another 10-15 minutes and then add a dash of milk or cream to taste.
  4. We also have homemade mashed potatoes and fried fish.
