Ingredients

  • 1 glass flour
  • 1 glass water
  • 120 g butter
  • 5 egg (s)
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 750 ml milk
  • 200 g butter
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 6 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 packs pudding powder
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Boil the water and margarine together. Then slowly pour in the flour and stir quickly. Bring to the boil again. Then let it cool down. Add the eggs and baking powder and stir well.
  2. The dough is cut in two. One part is placed on the baking sheet (40 cm) and baked (do not smooth it out). Do the same with the second part. Baking time approx. 20-30 minutes at 180 degrees.
  3. Prepare the pudding according to the package instructions (without sugar) and allow to cool.
  4. Beat the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until white and frothy. Gradually add the cold pudding and beat thoroughly again. Butter and pudding should be the same temperature.
  5. The finished cream is spread over one half of the cake. The second half comes over it. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into square pieces.
  6. The cake tastes best on the third day.
