Instructions

  1. Roll out the bread dough on a baking sheet. Cut the washed leek into small pieces. Dice the rolls and soak them in milk (only use as much milk as is absorbed by the rolls). Whisk the eggs and mix with the soaked rolls. Add salt, oil and leek and mix well. Spread the mixture on the bread dough. Dice the bacon and roll it in breadcrumbs, then spread it over the dough and bake the cake at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.
  2. Bacon cakes should be eaten hot. We add salt to it before eating.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
