Instructions

  1. Let the hash browns thaw. Clean, wash, roughly cut the savoy cabbage and let it simmer in the broth. Be careful that the cabbage doesn`t get too soft, which is quick with savoy cabbage.
  2. Drain and drain.
  3. Place Kassel slices in a baking dish. Cover with the well-drained savoy cabbage. Crumble the defrosted hash browns and sprinkle over the savoy cabbage. Mix the cream and sour cream with salt and pepper and pour over the casserole. Finally, sprinkle the grated cheese on top and bake at approx. 180 ° (top / bottom heat) in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
