Ingredients

  • 3 large dumplings (leftovers from potato or bread dumplings)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 small Can corn
  • 80 g Emmentaler or Gouda
  • 2 medium egg (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • some nutmeg
  • some butter
  • some paprika powder, noble sweet, possibly smoked

Instructions

  1. Cut the dumplings into cubes. Peel an onion and cut it into small cubes.
  2. Melt some butter in a pan and fry the dumplings in it, it can also be mixed dumplings. Add the onion cubes and fry briefly. Drain the corn and add. Season everything with salt, pepper, nutmeg and paprika. Beat the two eggs in the pan, mix well and let set. Finally, mix in the cheese, either grated or sliced cheese, and let it melt.
  3. Herbs can be added if desired. Bacon, leftover roasts or other vegetables can also be used as a variant.
