Ingredients

  • 350 g pasta, (macaroni)
  • 200 g cooked ham, sliced
  • 200 ml sweet cream
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 150 g cheese, rated (preferably Emmentaler, Gruyere or medieval Gouda)
  • Herbs, fresh your choice (e.g. thyme, parsley)

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni in the meat stock until cooked. Drain and mix with the ham cut into strips.
  2. Mix the cream, eggs, cheese and chopped herbs (amount to taste), mix with the cooked pasta. Layer in a baking dish.
  3. Gratinate in the oven at 200 ° for approx. 15 - 20 minutes. It depends on how the casserole is layered. If you take a large form and fill it flat, the casserole only takes 15 minutes. If it is layered higher, it takes longer.
