Ingredients

  • 1 sprig oregano
  • 1 sprig marjoram
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 300 g minced beef
  • 1 can tomato (s)
  • salt

  • 20 g butter
  • 15 grams flour
  • milk
  • nutmeg
  • 4 kohlrabi
  • 50 g cheese (Emmentaler), rated

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the onion, garlic and herbs. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the minced meat in portions. Fry with the last portion of onion, garlic and herbs. Extinguish with the finely chopped tomatoes and add the meat again. Let it simmer on a low heat for 20-30 minutes.
  2. Melt 15 g butter in a pan. Sweat the flour in it. Remove from heat and stir in milk in portions. Simmer on a low heat for 15 minutes. Season with salt and nutmeg.
  3. Spread the rest of the butter on a baking dish. Peel the kohlrabi and slice it into 1-2 cm thick slices. Layer alternately kohlrabi slices and meat mixture in the mold, sprinkling each layer with cheese. Finally, pour the sauce over it. Bake in the oven at 200 ° C for about 20-30 minutes.
