Instructions

  1. Peel, wash and cut the kohlrabi into slices or sticks.
  2. Roughly chop the tender leaves and cook them like spinach or cook them together with the vegetables.
  3. Melt the fat and heat the kohlrabi slices or sticks and possibly the leaves in them for a short time. Add the water and a little salt and steam the kohlrabi over a low heat for about 15-20 minutes. Then bind them with the mixed cornstarch, season with salt and sprinkle with parsley. Place the leaves around the vegetables if you have steamed them on their own.
  4. Change: Boil the kohlrabi slices or sticks in 500 ml of water until soft and serve in a light basic sauce.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
