Ingredients

  • 6 m kohlrabi
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 200 g ham, raw
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2 egg (s), including the yolk
  • 250 ml milk
  • salt
  • sugar
  • nutmeg
  • Cheese, grated
  • Breadcrumbs
  • butter

Instructions

  1. Peel the kohlrabi, cut into thick strips or small slices, sauté in the butter, season, season to taste, dust with the flour, fill up with the broth until the kohlrabi is almost covered and let it simmer covered and almost cooked.
  2. Then mix in the diced ham and the chopped young kohlrabi leaves.
  3. Put in a baking dish.
  4. Whisk the egg yolks with milk, pour over the kohlrabi, mix the cheese with some breadcrumbs, sprinkle over them, put on flakes of butter and bake in the preheated oven - about 15-20 minutes!
  5. There are also parsley potatoes and salad according to your wishes and season!
