Ingredients

  • 500 g potato (s)
  • 125 g minced meat
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • some breadcrumbs, (panko)
  • some salt and pepper
  • 500 ml oil, for deep-frying
  • 1 egg (s)
  • flour

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes, then cook them until cooked. Dice the onions and fry them with a little oil in the pan, then add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Season with salt and pepper. Mash the boiled potatoes. Add the fried minced meat and mix. Divide the minced meat and potato mixture into eight portions and shape them into slices approx. 6 cm in diameter.
  2. Whisk the egg in a small bowl. Put some flour on one plate, some panko on another. Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. First turn the Korokke in flour, knock off excess flour lightly. Then bread in the egg and then with panko. Fry the korokke in the hot fat until golden brown. Drain a little on kitchen paper.
