Kozinaki from Sesame and Sunflower Seeds

Such a dessert without baking is prepared very quickly and without hassle! A simple and delicious dessert in five minutes of your time. Kozinaki can be made from sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, peanuts, nuts, and flax seeds are added if desired. Making kozinaki at home is very simple and quick.

Ingredients

  • Sesame – 75 g
  • Sunflower seeds – 75 g
  • Honey – 50 g
  • Sugar – 25 g
  • Salt – 1 pinch

Directions

  1. Fry the sunflower seeds in a dry frying pan for 2 minutes.
  2. Add sesame seeds to the seeds and fry the sesame seeds until golden brown for another 2 minutes.
    Add salt to keep the kozinaki from being too sweet.
  3. Heat honey and sugar in a frying pan for 1-2 minutes until all sugar crystals dissolve.
  4. Pour seeds and sesame seeds into a pan with sugar and honey, mix well.
  5. Spread the mixture over the parchment.
  6. Cover the top with another sheet of parchment and smooth with a rolling pin.
  7. Remove the top sheet of parchment and cut the kozinaki into small pieces while still warm.
  8. Cool the kozinaki completely, and you can invite everyone to tea.
    By the same principle, you can make kozinaki only from sunflower seeds.
