Ingredients

  • 150 g Kritharaki (noodles in rice form) or other small noodles
  • 120 g tartare or very lean round beef
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • possibly garlic
  • 1 small bell pepper (s), red
  • 5 cocktail tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 150 g tomato (s), sieved
  • 50 ml milk
  • 75 g sheep cheese, liht
  • 1 teaspoon gyros spice
  • 1 teaspoon pizza seasoning
  • Paprika powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch cinnamon powder, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon fat for the mold

Instructions

  1. Cook the kritharaki al dente according to the instructions on the packet. Cut the onion, bell pepper and tomatoes into small cubes, finely chop or press the garlic. Mix the tomatoes with the milk, pizza and gyros spices and paprika powder. Mash the sheep cheese with a fork.
  2. Fry the tartare with onions and garlic in a non-oiled pan, add the tomato paste and roast with it. Add the tomato and pepper cubes and fry briefly. Pour in the tomato sauce, stir and let simmer gently for about 10 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Season to taste with salt, pepper, paprika and possibly cinnamon. Stir in half of the sheep cheese and let it melt briefly.
  3. Pour the cooked kritharaki into a greased baking dish. Add the tartar sauce and mix everything together. Spread the rest of the sheep`s cheese on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 ° C for about 15 minutes.
