  • Parboiled rice – 150 g
  • White cabbage – 350 g
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Tomato juice – 150 ml
  • Fresh parsley – 30 g
  • Green onions – 50 g
  • Ground coriander – 5 g
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Refined sunflower oil – 50 ml
  • Water (boiling water) – 300 ml

  1. Prepare all the food for lahanorizo.

  2. Onions, cut into small cubes, fry in vegetable oil until transparent.
  3. Add the sliced ​​carrots. Fry the carrots until soft.
  4. Chop the cabbage finely and add to the pan to the vegetables. Cook for 3-4 minutes until light caramel color and cabbage soft.
  5. Now add rice, salt, coriander, and pour in tomato juice.
  6. Pour in about 300 ml of boiling water here and cook rice with cabbage under a lid over low heat until the rice is cooked.
  7. Finally, add chopped greens – chives and parsley. Cover with a lid.
  8. When serving lahanorizo ​​to the table, keep in mind that this dish of cabbage and rice is delicious both hot and cold.
