Ingredients

  • 250 g lamb`s lettuce
  • 50 g bacon cubes
  • 1 roll from the day before, alternatively a slice bread
  • 1 onion (s)
  • Vinegar (Melfor vinegar), with honey
  • Olive oil, cold pressed
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 tablespoon salad herbs
  • 3 teaspoons forest honey
  • Pepper from the grinder

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly clean and wash the lamb`s lettuce, then place in a bowl.
  2. Finely dice the onion. Set aside a tablespoon of onions. Mix the rest of the onions, salt, salad herbs, honey, vinegar and oil into a salad dressing, season to taste.
  3. Then heat the pan, let the olive oil get hot, fry the bacon cubes with the remaining onions until crispy. Place on kitchen paper so that the fat is absorbed.
  4. Cut the roll into cubes, place in hot olive oil and brown on all sides, stirring constantly. The croutons are now ready. Put this on a paper towel and let it soak up the fat.
  5. Mix the lamb`s lettuce with the salad sauce in the bowl and divide into portions. Spread the bacon and croutons on the salad portions, first the bacon and then the croutons.
