To easily and quickly feed your family a delicious breakfast, make soft and tender lazy cottage cheese dumplings.
Ingredients
Cottage cheese – 360 g
Egg – 1 pc.
Flour – 50 g + for working with dough
Sugar – 1 tbsp
Salt – 1 pinch + for boiling dumplings
Directions
Mash cottage cheese with a fork with egg, salt and sugar. If the curd is hard and grains, you can rub it through a sieve or beat with a submersible blender.
Add flour to the curd mass and stir well.
Transfer the curd dough to a floured board and mix well with your hands until smooth.
Then roll the sausages about 2 cm thick from the dough. Cut the sausages into small pieces.
Lazy cottage cheese dumplings can be cooked immediately or frozen for future use. To cook dumplings, boil water in a saucepan, add salt. Dip lazy dumplings into it. Stir gently to prevent them from sticking to the bottom. After the dumplings float, cook them for 1.5 minutes. Then remove the lazy dumplings from the water using a slotted spoon.
Serve delicious and tender lazy cottage cheese dumplings hot, with sour cream or butter.
