Bulgur pilaf with mushrooms is a simple and hearty dish that can be prepared in Lent. It turns out such lean pilaf with mushrooms is very fragrant, crumbly and tasty!

Bulgur – 200 g
Champignons – 150 g
Carrots – 1 pc.
Bulb onions – 1 pc.
Vegetable oil – 50 g
Spices for pilaf – 1 tablespoon.
Salt to taste
Directions
Let’s start cooking bulgur pilaf with mushrooms: Cut the onion into small cubes.
Cut the carrots into strips.
Cut the mushrooms into thin slices.
Fry the onions and carrots in a heat-resistant form.
Then add the pre-washed and dried bulgur and mix everything thoroughly.
Add champignons, stirring constantly.
Add hot water, twice the volume of bulgur, cover with a lid and leave the lean pilaf with mushrooms to simmer for 20-25 minutes.
Remove from heat and let it brew for another 30 minutes.
Bulgur pilaf with champignons is ready!
