Instructions

  1. Remove dark green parts and roots from the leek. Wash the sticks thoroughly and cut them diagonally into pieces approx. 1 cm long. Pre-cook the vegetables in boiling salted water for about 3 minutes. Then drain, drain. Spread the leek in a greased casserole dish and season well with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Mix the quark with the cream, grated cheese and 2 tablespoon sunflower seeds. Peel and squeeze the garlic. Add the parsley and pull both into the curd mixture. Spread the mixture on the leek. Scatter the rest of the sunflower seeds on top and bake everything for about 15 minutes. Jacket potatoes go well with it. You can also add cooked spiral noodles or cooked ham cubes.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
