Instructions

  1. Cut the tomatoes into slices (remove the stalk) and lay out roof tiles in a flat bowl. Cut the leek into rings and sauté briefly for better digestibility: Either in boiling water or with 2 teaspoons of water for about one minute in the microwave (800 W). Spread the cooled leek rings on the tomatoes, as well as the chopped parsley.
  2. Mix the mustard, vinegar and spices, fill a jar with oil and shake vigorously until the sauce is creamy. Spread on the salad with a tablespoon and let it steep for a moment.
  3. We like this salad e.g., as an accompaniment to pork schnitzel and boiled potatoes.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
