Ingredients

  • 3 leeks, large
  • 2 medium onion (s), finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 4 dl cream
  • a bit salt
  • some pepper, whiter

Instructions

  1. Heat the butter in a pan, add the onions and sauté a little, the leeks, halved, washed and cut into 2cm strips, add and continue to cook. Salt a little so that the leek draws water. Let simmer until there is little water in the pan. Dust with flour, mix well and slowly pour in the cream. Let simmer gently for about 10 to 15 minutes, so that the sauce becomes nice and thick.
  2. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Goes very well with boiled meat as a vegetable side dish, or with fried fish. A little garlic can also be added to taste.
