Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Peel and wash the potatoes, cut into sticks or roughly slice. Clean and wash the leek and cut into rings. Wash the meat, pat dry and dice. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large pan. Briefly fry the meat cubes in it, remove. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in the pan and fry half of the potato sticks in it. Season with salt, pepper and thyme. Add the leek and stir-fry for about 5 minutes. If necessary, season again. Mix everything with the meat. Pour the potato and meat mixture into a greased baking dish. Spread the rest of the potato sticks on top. Whisk the milk, eggs and half of the cheese together. Season with salt and pepper and pour over the casserole. Scatter the rest of the cheese on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric stove: 200 ° C / convection: 175 ° C / gas: level 3) for 50-60 minutes until golden brown.
  2. A cold beer or cider goes well with this.
