This is again “universal shortbread 1 -2 -3” with a few additions. It’s hard to come up with a new recipe for shortbread dough :), so now I pay more attention to the shape of the cookies.
Ingredients
Margarine (soft) – 250 g
Sugar – 135 g
Wheat flour / Flour – 350 g
Chicken egg – 1 pc
Salt – 1/2 teaspoon.
Lemon zest (or ready-made Citro Back – 1 pack.)
Jam (any sour or marmalade)
Marzipan (marzipan mass) – 100 g
Directions
Whisk soft margarine with sugar, egg, and salt. Add the zest and flour, knead the soft dough, wrap it in foil, send it to the refrigerator for 30 minutes – 1 hour.
We turn on the oven at 190 * C.
Roll out the cooled dough into a layer 5-6 mm thick. I always roll on baking paper and over paper – no sticking problems. We cut out cookies of the same shape, only of different sizes (I have already boasted of my new molds in my diary :)). We bake for 10-12 minutes at 190-200 * C. Remove from the sheet, cool.
