Lemon Macaroons

This is again “universal shortbread 1 -2 -3” with a few additions. It’s hard to come up with a new recipe for shortbread dough :), so now I pay more attention to the shape of the cookies.

Ingredients

  • Margarine (soft) – 250 g
  • Sugar – 135 g
  • Wheat flour / Flour – 350 g
  • Chicken egg – 1 pc
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Lemon zest (or ready-made Citro Back – 1 pack.)
  • Jam (any sour or marmalade)
  • Marzipan (marzipan mass) – 100 g

Directions

  1. Whisk soft margarine with sugar, egg, and salt. Add the zest and flour, knead the soft dough, wrap it in foil, send it to the refrigerator for 30 minutes – 1 hour.
  2. We turn on the oven at 190 * C.
  3. Roll out the cooled dough into a layer 5-6 mm thick. I always roll on baking paper and over paper – no sticking problems. We cut out cookies of the same shape, only of different sizes (I have already boasted of my new molds in my diary :)). We bake for 10-12 minutes at 190-200 * C. Remove from the sheet, cool.
