Ingredients

  • 1 liter boiling water
  • 3 teaspoons tea, black, loose (East Frisian mixture), or bags
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), add the juice
  • 2 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Scald the tea with the boiling water and let it steep for about 4-5 minutes. Pass tea through a sieve or remove the bag or tea strainer. Add lemon juice (freshly squeezed it tastes best) and sugar and stir. Let the tea get cold (if you want it to go faster, you can put the pot in the cold water bath). Serve with ice cubes.
