Ingredients

  • 0.5 ½ cup lentils, brown, dried
  • 4 tablespoon oatmeal
  • 1 tablespoon soy flour
  • 0.5 liter ½ water
  • salt and pepper
  • Spice (s) your choice, e.g. chilli, paprika powder, ..

Instructions

  1. Boil the lentils in the water until soft. Then pour off the excess water and collect it, then puree the lentils. Mix with the oat flakes, the spices, the soy flour and 2 tablespoons of the collected water until a malleable dough is formed.
  2. If the dough is too runny, just add a few more oat flakes, a little water is too firm. Shape the dough into flat patties and fry them slowly on both sides in oil.
  3. The patties are suitable as a meat substitute in vegetarian burgers, but they also taste great as an accompaniment to potatoes or mashed potatoes. The recipe can be varied as desired, e.g., with chopped onions or grated vegetables such. B. Carrots.
