Ingredients

  • 8 medium potatoes, waxy

For the dressing:

  • 1 apple
  • 8 small pickled cucumber (s)
  • 2 spring onion (s)
  • 400 g natural yourt
  • 2 teaspoons mustard, medium hot
  • 3 teaspoons cucumber water
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Put the potatoes in boiling water.
  2. While the potatoes are cooking, prepare the dressing. To do this, mix together yogurt, mustard and cucumber water. Cut the apple, cucumber and onion into cubes and mix all the ingredients together. Season well with salt and pepper. The dressing has to be really strong, as the potatoes absorb the taste and thus neutralize it.
  3. When the potatoes are done, peel them, cut them into small pieces and stir them into the dressing while still warm. Let it steep and season again to taste. The potato salad is ready.
  4. Tips: Even with this recipe, everyone can vary according to their taste.
  5. My grandma gave the potato salad with marinated herring its very own taste.
  6. I like to have sausages with this salad.
  7. If you don`t like yogurt on the salad, you can also use mayonnaise.
