Instructions

  1. First cut the limes in half and squeeze them properly. Pour the juice through a sieve into a saucepan and mix with the sugar and elderflower syrup.
  2. Heat the liquid slowly over medium heat and stir constantly until the sugar has dissolved. Add the mint and slowly bring the syrup to the boil, stirring constantly. The longer you let it simmer, the more intense you will taste the mint afterwards. Take the saucepan off the stove and remove the mint leaves.
  3. Pour the liquid into a container and let it cool down, then store it in the refrigerator.
  4. For a delicious lemonade, add a little syrup with ice-cold sparkling water. Especially delicious on hot summer days.

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
