Let’s cook a filling, tasty, and very flavorful liver cake for our men in a multicooker. The filling will contain usual and affordable products: carrots, onions, and mayonnaise.
Ingredients
Liver (pork) – 500 g
Eggs – 3 pcs.
Baking powder – 1 teaspoon.
Cream of any fat – 5 tablespoon.
Salt – to taste
Pepper – to taste
Onions – 2 pcs.
Carrots – 1 pc.
Vegetable oil – for frying
Mayonnaise – 7 tablespoon.
Directions
Wash the liver thoroughly, dry it, remove the membrane, and cut out the veins. Cut the liver into any small pieces.
Mix the prepared pieces of liver for 5 minutes in a blender until smooth trying to break up all the lumps. Add one onion cut into four pieces and mix well again.
Add the eggs. Mix with the same blender.
Put the cream and baking powder in. Due to these products, the liver cake will become tender and rise in volume a little. Stir everything, add salt and pepper to taste.
Grease the bowl of the multicooker with vegetable oil and put the liver spread in it. Choose the “Baking” mode and bake the base of the liver cake for 45 minutes.
Prepare the filling. Grate the carrot coarsely and chop quite finely the second onion.
Fry the onion until transparent, then add the carrot and fry the vegetables for about 10 minutes. Chill them and mix them with mayonnaise.
When the timer on the multicooker lets you know that the base of your liver cake is done, turn off the multicooker and open the lid. Leave the base for 5 minutes. Then take it out of the bowl, chill it, and cut it in half.
Put all the filling on the bottom half of the liver base and spread it evenly over the entire surface with a spoon.
Cover it with the second liver half and, if desired, put a thin layer of mayonnaise. Leave the liver cake to soak in the fridge for 2 hours.
