Liver Cake with Processed Cheese

This is a great appetizer for any holiday table. The liver cake with cheese is quick to cook and even quicker to eat.

Ingredients

  • Liver (chicken, beef) – 600 g
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Cream cheese – 100 g
  • Onions – 2-3 pcs.
  • Flour – 100 g
  • Salt – to taste
  • Sugar – 1 teaspoon.
  • Pepper – to taste
  • Mayonnaise – 150 g
  • Vegetable oil – 40 ml
  • Green garlic – 4-5 sprigs (to taste)

How to cook a liver cake with processed cheese:

Directions

  1. Chop one or two onions finely.
  2. Pour oil (30-40 ml) into a frying pan. Place the finely chopped onions into the hot oil. Brown them over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Remove from the heat and chill.
  3. Cut the livers.
  4. Cut another onion into four pieces.
  5. Put the livers, processed cheese, and onions cut into pieces through a meat grinder.
  6. Add salt and pepper. as well as the eggs.
  7. Mix everything well, add flour and sugar. Mix it all well.
  8. Heat a frying pan and grease it with the oil. Pour a portion of the liver batter. Spread the pancake all over the pan.
  9. Brown the liver pancakes over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes on each side. Fry all the pancakes in this way.
  10. Place the first pancake on a plate and coat it with mayonnaise (2 tablespoons). Then put the fried onions. Put the next pancake. Then coat all the pancakes this way.
  11. The liver cake with cheese is ready. You can decorate the top of it with mayonnaise and the chopped green garlic. Put the liver cake into the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
