Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoon fried onions
  • 250 g minced meat, fresh
  • salt and pepper
  • 50 g lamb`s lettuce
  • 3 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 100 ml buttermilk
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 40 grams flour
  • 2 slices vegetable onion (s)
  • 60 g breadcrumbs
  • 300 ml frying fat
  • 2 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • Cut out 4 slices Gouda (Radeberger) with a foot cookie cutter.
  • 2 bagels
  • 4 teaspoons mustard (m-spicy), preferably from a plastic bottle with a spout

Instructions

  1. Finely crush the fried onions in a mortar and knead with the minced meat in a bowl. Season with pepper, shape into 2 patties and cover and chill on a plate covered with cling film. Clean, wash and spin dry the lamb`s lettuce. Mix the mayonnaise and lemon juice together.
  2. Mix the buttermilk with the egg, a pinch of salt and flour. Separate the onion rings, pull them through the batter and turn them in the breadcrumbs. Bake in portions in 175 degrees hot fat until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Season the patties with salt and pepper and fry in them over medium heat for 4 - 5 minutes on each side. After turning the cheese, spread it over the patties and finish cooking.
  4. In the meantime, halve the bagels horizontally and bake them in the preheated oven. Brush the bottom halves of the bagel with mayonnaise. Place the lamb`s lettuce, patties and fried onions on top. Brush the bagel lid with mustard and place on the burger.
