Instructions

  1. Cut the bread into cubes. Briefly froth the butter in a hot pan and let it brown. Add the eggs, sour cream, browned butter, lovage and salt to the bread, mix well.
  2. Place the soggy mass lengthways on cling film and bring the dumpling dough to the desired width (diameter approx. 5 cm). Close the foil carefully at both ends and wrap it again with aluminum foil.
  3. Let it steep in boiling water for about 20 minutes, lift out of the water, then remove from the foil and cut into slices. Cabbage meat goes well with it.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
