Ingredients

  • 1 burger bun
  • 150 g chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 30 g BBQ sauce
  • 10 g mustard
  • 1 slice tomato (s)
  • 1 port. arugula
  • 1 half onion (s)
  • 1 gherkins
  • Paprika powder, hot pink
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash the chicken breast, pat dry and cut into small pieces. Season to taste, I take about 1/2 teaspoon of hot pepper, salt and pepper. Mix well once and put in the food processor. Chop to the desired consistency, put the minced meat in the burger press and form a patty. Put it in the freezer and the patty will keep its shape better!
  2. Let a pan get hot, add 1 tablespoon of oil, I`ll use rapeseed oil. Take the patty out of the freezer and sear it on both sides, then turn the power down and put a lid on. So the moisture stays in the meat.
  3. The burger bun, I always use homemade BBQ-Pit, cut it open in the middle and briefly toast both open sides in the pan. On the bottom half in sequence: Place the mustard, rocket, patty, tomato, onion, BBQ sauce and the other half.
  4. Of course, everyone can put together their own ingredients, chili cheese sauce goes very well with it.
  5. French fries or wedges are of course ideal as a side dish.
