Instructions

  1. Knead a shortcrust pastry from hemp flour, butter and an egg. Don`t be surprised, this is a bit crumbly. Shape the dough into a ball and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  2. Chop the onion / spring onion and fry it with the bacon, set aside.
  3. Whisk the remaining 4 eggs with the cream, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Fold the bacon and onion mixture and the grated cheese into the egg and cream mixture.
  4. Cover the bottom of a springform pan with baking paper. Crumble the dough into the springform pan and press firmly, pulling up a little at the edge. Put the egg, cream and bacon mixture on the dough, bake at 180 ° C top and bottom heat for 30 - 35 minutes.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
