  1. First you cut the bread rolls into small cubes. Then sauté the onion and the parsley in a pan, add the diced bacon and the diced bread rolls and fry them lightly.
  2. Whisk the eggs with the cream and season with nutmeg, salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C.
  4. Take everything out of the pan, pour into a bowl and mix with the cream and egg mixture, do not whisk or anything. Shape the dumpling dough into elongated dumplings and place them on a greased baking sheet. Bake for about 30 minutes. Brush with butter after baking.
  5. These dumplings are a good accompaniment to meat dishes with sauce, e.g., roast pork, but can also be served with soup.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
