- 0.5 ½ cup rice, parboiled
- 1 large tomato (s), possibly beefsteak tomato
- some basil
- 1 medium onion (s)
- 0.5 clove ½ garlic
- 1 dash oil
- salt
- pepper
- 1 pinch (s) sugar

- Cook rice according to package instructions.
- In the meantime, roughly dice the tomatoes, place in a bowl and season with salt. Finely dice the onion. Finely chop the basil leaves and garlic. Pour off some of the water from the tomatoes that was formed by salting. Add onion, basil, garlic and sugar and mix everything together. Season to taste with salt and pepper, a little stronger, as the rice will neutralize a little later. Add oil. Add the finished rice hot as it is and stir in.
- Can be consumed immediately.
