Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 250 g semolina
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ dry yeast
  • 250 ml water
  • oil
  • butter

Instructions

  1. Knead all ingredients into a smooth dough. Form about 12 small balls out of this and let them rest at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
  2. Wet your hands with a little oil and butter mixture and flatten the balls on a plate until the dough is almost transparent.
  3. Now you take the right side of the dough and fold it to the middle, the left side is placed over the right side. Do the same with the upper side and the lower side, the small squares are now pressed flat again.
  4. The M`Semen are fried until golden brown on both sides in a little oil and butter mixture.
