Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat, (mixed or pork)
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 500 g cheese, (Emmental or pizza cheese)
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 2 teaspoon spice mixture (Chinese spice)
  • 1 clove garlic or garlic granules
  • Salt and pepper, (from the mill)
  • 2 cans tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoon soup (powder or cubes)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 400 g pasta (macaroni)

Instructions

  1. Chop the onion and brown it lightly with a little olive oil. Add the minced meat and fry.
  2. Add the oregano, Chinese spice, garlic, tomato paste, salt, pepper and the soup cubes dissolved in water.
  3. After about 10 minutes, add about 100 g of the cheese and 1/2 cup of cream.
  4. In the meantime, cook the macaroni al dente.
  5. Then pour the macaroni, cheese and minced meat mixture in layers (alternately) into a baking dish. (Top layer should be some cheese, gives a nice crust)
  6. Finally, pour the rest of the cream over the casserole and bake everything in the oven for about 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees.
