Ingredients

  • 1 onion (s), chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 500 g tomato (s) (pizza tomato)
  • 500 g pasta (macaroni), cooked, short ones
  • 100 g cheese (Emmentaler), rated
  • 100 g mozzarella, thinly sliced
  • 150 ml cream
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 40 g parmesan
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ thyme
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ basil

Instructions

  1. Fry the onions and garlic in 1 tablespoon of olive oil until golden. Add tomatoes, thyme, oregano and basil. Reduce to a thick sauce, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Grease a baking dish with a little butter. Put in a layer of pasta. Spread some tomato sauce on the pasta, sprinkle with Emmental cheese and mozzarella. Continue in this order, finishing the casserole with pasta. Mix the cream with the eggs until smooth and pour over the pasta. Sprinkle the casserole with parmesan and flakes of butter.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes at 200 ° C.
  4. Tip: Of course, other types of pasta can also be used, it is good to use leftovers.
