Mackerel with Potatoes Baked with Mayonnaise

Baked fish and potatoes are a great dinner for the whole family. Or a hot dish for the New Year 2021, for those who want to diversify their holiday menu. A fish dish recipe for the New Year’s table 2021 is a good help in cooking.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Mackerel – 1-2 pcs.
  • Potatoes – 1 kg
  • Bulb onions – 1-2 pcs.
  • Mayonnaise – 100-150 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground pepper – to taste (0.5 teaspoon)

Directions

  1. Peel and wash the mackerel. Separate the fillet from the spine and bones. Cut into small pieces.
  2. Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
  3. Put fish and onions in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper, stir. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces.
  5. Add potatoes and mayonnaise to the fish, add a little salt and mix well.
  6. Put the fish and potatoes into a mold.
  7. Put in the oven. Bake mackerel with potatoes at 180 degrees until tender, about 40-50 minutes.
  8. Mackerel with potatoes is ready.
