  • 275 grams sugar
  • 375 grams flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 300 g mararine
  • 4 small can Mandarine (s)
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix egg yolks with sugar and vanilla sugar until foamy, add flour and baking powder and stir. Heat the margarine and mix with the dough mixture. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in. Spread the dough on a baking sheet and distribute the drained mandarins (to collect the juice) evenly on top.
  2. Bake for 25 minutes at 220 ° C (fan oven 200 ° C) on the middle rack, remove the tray.
  3. Immediately pour the juice from the mandarins evenly over the hot cake. Dust with powdered sugar just before serving.
  4. TIP: A variant with pineapple (very finely chopped) instead of the mandarins also tastes good.
