Ingredients

  • 15 mandarin (s) organic, pressed (use the juice elsewhere)
  • 400 g rock suar
  • 700 ml vodka
  • 1 vanilla pod (s), scraped out (use the pulp otherwise)

Instructions

  1. Put the squeezed organic mandarins, the vanilla pod and the rock sugar in a sufficiently large container. Top up with vodka until everything is covered. Let the mixture steep for at least 3 months, then strain and fill into bottles. The longer the liqueur matures, the better it tastes.
  2. This recipe is expressly intended to use leftovers from organic mandarins, the juice is not required.
